Cleanliness : Excellent, Facilities : Good , Location : Excellent
Other Comments : I've stayed at this hotel about 8 times now. Even the least expensive rooms are very nice. The breakfast buffet is a true Bavarian feast and the hotel staff are well informed and friendly.

The location is ideal for sight seeing and shopping as most of the cities primer shopping is a short an colorful walk away.

The Downside:
Both a blessing and a curse, the hotel is litterally an island between the light rail intersections and can be quite noisy even though the rooms are well insulated. Rarely a problem with the windows closed but the summer nights are usually quite mild and I hate to have to keep the window closed. The only other bad thing is the exterior. It rather clashes with the otherwise wonderfully old-world look of the location due to it's obnoxious billboards covering the front. Quite different than it's traditional fine interior.

If you can get a good price, which you often can, this is a great hotel. I'd put it a notch below the Bayrischer Hof though.
